And you don't have the time or the money to take lessons every week. So what do you do? Well, I suggest that you try beginning piano lessons on DVD.

Saving as much money as possible is something that we want to do in these economic times. Well, when you're buying piano lessons on DVD you only pay once and you can continue to learn and practice any time you want to without the need to pay a teacher every week.

Another thing that makes beginning piano lessons on DVD better is convenience. You can learn on your own time at your own pace. Now, if you want to perfect your craft I would suggest something that you already know. Being consistent is something that have to do. Create a schedule that you're comfortable with and try to stick with it. Know that it's YOUR schedule and no one else. Anytime you decide to, you can change it.

As a piano player myself I've taken both private lessons and piano lessons on DVD. I've found that starting out; I was able to learn more on my own than working with a teacher. I was quickly bored when I became more advanced later on, while taking private lessons from a teacher. The reason was I was already ahead of the game because of the DVD piano lessons.

You must know that it's quite important to make the right choice when picking and beginning piano lessons on DVD. Knowing that bad habits are quite difficult to break, if you pick the wrong system, you can begin to develop bad habits. There's one that really sticks out the most in my eyes out of the ones that I've tried even though I haven't tried them all. It is a solid program even if it's not perfect. Is a 61 key keyboard enough for my first piano lessons?
